January 2026: Bella Riem joins the lab as the first PhD student—welcome, Bella! She completed her B.S. in Zoology with a minor in Cognitive Science from Michigan State in December 2025, and we’re thrilled to have her join us.

August 2025: The lab opens at Miami University. Dr Hofmeister teaches at the Middletown Regional campus, and conducts research at the Oxford campus (right).

We are always looking for undergraduate students to join the lab! At this time, I am not accepting new MS or PhD students.
